Tan D. Nguyen
Tan D. Nguyen is the principal of the Law Firm of Tan D. Nguyen. He practices primarily in the area of domestic relations and family court, mostly in Chicago and the Southwest Suburbs. In his years of practice in Cook County as well as the collar counties, Tan has helped mothers, fathers, husbands and wives exercise their legal rights in domestic relations matters so that they can enjoy life after the legal process has been completed. He has also helped parents enjoy being a significant part of their children’s lives in divorce or parentage cases. He believes that both mothers and fathers should be able to participate in the growth and development of their children. While not focusing on family law matters, he also practiced in workers’ compensation, eviction, and small claims courts. He is committed to ensuring that each and every person employing him as his or her attorney receives individualized attention for his or her particular legal need.
He earned his law degree in 2007 from The John Marshall Law School and his bachelor of arts from Northwestern University in 1996. Prior to earning his law degree, he earned a master of divinity from the University of St. Mary of the Lake in 2002. He is admitted to the Illinois bar and the general bar of the Seventh Circuit. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is a certified mediator.
